Skip Count Kid
Regular Version
Counting by intervals/pre-multiplication
This is just what you need to help your child make the transition from addition to multiplication. Skip counting is counting in sequences
(i.e. Count by 2’s 2,4,6,8...
Count by 4’s 7,14,21,28...
Count by 9’s 9,18,27,36,45 etc.)
Also, if you are teaching fractions, skip counting is a quick method for finding common denominators. For example, if you are trying to find the common denominator of 2/3 and 3/4, you would skip count by 3‘s and skip count by 4’s until you came to the same common denominator (12).
It comes with a music CD and an instruction book with clever projects.
Skip Count Kid - (Regular Version) Songs include: 3 Wheels on a Tricycle; 4 Legs on a Horse; 6 Monkeys in a Jungle; 9 Men on a Baseball Team, etc.
